Video Studio
Create videos from text or from a photo. Choose duration, aspect ratio and model, then watch them generate.
What you can do
Video Studio transforms descriptions and images into dynamic and fluid videos:
- Text → video — write a description and generate a video
- Photo → video — upload a photo and animate it with fluid motion
- Duration — from 2 to 8 seconds
- Aspect ratio — vertical (9:16, for social), horizontal (16:9, for web), square (1:1)
How to use it
Step 1: Choose the mode
At the top left you see two buttons:
- Text → Video — create a video from a description
- Photo → Video — animate a photo with motion
Step 2: Write the prompt
Describe the movement and action you want. Example: *"a wave crashing on a beach, golden sunset, camera slowly pans right"*
For Photo → Video, the prompt describes the motion added to the photo. Example: *"the camera slowly pulls back, zoom out to an aerial view of the city"*
Step 3: Upload a photo (Photo → Video mode only)
Click the area and select a photo from your computer. Supports JPG, PNG up to 10 MB.
Step 4: Choose the model
The Model section shows the options:
- ⚡ Auto (most economical) — picks the best model for your budget
- FastWan 2.2 — local, fast, free, uncensored
- Premium models (with lock 🔒) — cloud, high quality, require credits
Free models are local. Premium models deliver cinematic quality, more details, fluid motion.
Step 5: Duration and format
- Duration: 2, 4, 6, or 8 seconds. Longer videos are more expensive and slower
- Aspect Ratio:
- 9:16 — vertical, perfect for TikTok, Reels, Shorts
- 16:9 — panorama, for YouTube, websites
- 1:1 — square, for Instagram feed
- 4:3 — classic
Step 6: Generate
Press Generate. The queue fills up and your video is processed in the background.
A desktop notification will alert you when the video is ready. If you closed the page, no worry: the video appears in Gallery and auto-downloads if your browser is still open.
Monitor generation
On the right side of the screen you see the Queue and Generated Videos:
- Status: Processing → Completed
- Time remaining: dynamic estimate, updated every few seconds
- Download: as soon as the video is ready, click to download
Free vs Premium models

FastWan is our local model: zero costs, no limits, but less smooth on complex motion. Premium models are cloud-based and much more realistic.
Real timings
- FastWan (free): ~30–60 seconds for 4 seconds of video
- Premium cloud: 1–5 minutes depending on the model and length
- The queue processes videos one at a time; if there are more, wait your turn
Common issues
"The video doesn't generate"
→ Make sure you have a Project selected (top bar, left). If you see an error, reload the page (Ctrl+Shift+R).
"The quality is terrible"
→ Use a Premium model instead of Auto/FastWan. Free models are fast but less detailed.
"The video stays "Processing" for 10 minutes"
→ Likely backend crash. Reload the page; the video may have been generated and is in Gallery.
"I don't get the desktop notification"
→ Browsers require permission for notifications. Check browser settings (top right, lock/notification icon).
Pro tip
Create the video in 16:9 panorama and then use it in Cinema Studio to edit it with other clips and a soundtrack. Or generate in 9:16 and send directly to TikTok.
